Glen Allen, Virginia, June 22, 2013 – (PR.com) – The American Academy of Private Physicians today announced the launch of its new website PrivatePhysicians.com. The site serves as the national directory of private physicians and is one of a kind. Owned and managed by the AAPP, PrivatePhysicians.com is a valuable resource for physicians and patients seeking to benefit from this new wave of medicine.

Founded in 2003, AAPP was established in response to the growing healthcare crisis in the country. Physicians who wanted to provide better and more personalized care to their patients envisioned a business model of independent health care focused on genuine doctor / patient relationships. Matthew Priddy, MD, President of AAPP said, “We are very pleased to offer the first national directory of direct care practices. There has been intense and growing interest from patients and physicians in this type of medical model, and we are proud to have developed the only go-to resource for identifying and contacting local private medical practices.

Visitors to PrivatePhysicians.com can search the official directory of private physicians by physician name, state, city or zip code to find good practice in their community. Physicians who have a private practice can create a basic list for free or pay to create a premium list, which includes annual membership in the AAPP.
